How to Extend hard drive size in virtual machine after creating it.

If you are low on disk space in virtual machine you can increase the disk space using the following method.

Click on the virtual machine on which you want to increase hard disk size.

Hard disk size is 12 GB. we will increase it to 15 GB

To increase the size in Virtual machine, first we need to extend the unallocated disk space.
To extend disk space go to disk management.

To extend the unallocated disk space click on the drive you want to increase the disk size.
From the top menu bar click “Action”
From the drop down, menu click “All Task”
From the drop down, menu click “Extend volume”
